Currently working on the script for Zombie Sama! 2. As soon as i am finished i will begin with the art so keep your eyes and ears to the grindstone people! Heres a teaser poster (which will be given away for free with any purchase at every con I attend)

BALTIMORE COMICON!

Had a great time in Baltimore this weekend. I want to thank everyone for coming over to the booth and checking out my work. Here are some con sketches and original art I prepared for the show. as well as a pair of charity sketch cards for the American Cancer Society. The sketch cards will go on auction on ebay through Blue line Art along with a ton from great artists so keep a look out for them. Enjoy! The first peice shown is an original painting I did for zombie sama! Prints for this are coming soon. Next up we have a Power girl commission followed by a golden age IronMan.

Next up we have a Mice Templar sketch. If you haven't picked up this book go get it now! Its the latest from Bryan Glass and Mike Avon Oeming and it kicks ass. By far my comic book pic of the month! Next up Gwen Stacy commission . And Last but not least the auction peices for the Cancer Society. Again keep an eye out for that, it's for a great cause. I'll post more info for it as ssoon as I find out more.

ZOMBIE SAMA! COLOR EDITION!

Zombie Sama! the full blown, knockout, color edition will be released in September so that means it is in July's Previews. The order code is JUL073409 so get your asses to your local comic shop and get going! If this book does well then Crusade can put out the sequel, penned and penciled (as well as inked) by yours truly!

In a comment left on a recent blog entry (JEN DESIGN, go check it out) the lovely real life Jen, in which Mike and myself are basing the main character for the book on, stated her disgust with our depiction of the character's choice of under garments. We constantly display the bad ass punk rocker female with her thong protruding from her low rise jeans and Jen (real Jen) has had enough! On behalf of myself, i would like to explain (and im sure mike would agree on this); We are guys! Not only are we guys but we are also comic book guys. We are victims of a world where all female characters are drawn bearing the skimpiest of outfits, showing off as much skin as possible, and even displaying a hard nipple where there is no cold weather or cool breeze to be found. Well I am going to put an end to it as of now! In Synergy you will find no protruding nippleage or thongs. There will be NO flesh bearing and NO provacative poses that may be misinterpreted From now on she will appear as follows. hahahaa I hope you can forgive us Jen, we love ya! p.s. i threw the tongue ring in, sorry i forgot it before.

hahah here is another attempt at the book mike and i are working on. Like i said before its been taking a while to get back in the groove of things and i feel like i am finally getting my bearings.

i finally have a couple of chances to get my own character that I have been developing since sva published. He will be appearing in an anthology book at the end of the year and I will also be pitching him to TokyoPop. Still working on a good design for the pulp style story that it is. So far this is the closest i've gotten to something I like.

gettin back in the groove

ive been out of the drawing game for so long that its been taking me a little while longer than i expected trying to get back into it. so heres a finished peice i threw together for a graphic novel idea im working on.

SYNERGY

Here is the first couple of pages for Synergy, a project that Mike Oeming and myself have been working on. I had mentioned this project in an earlier blog but the book was put on hold by myself due to other work obligations. Finally we can rock n roll!
